This post will be about the team 'KEPCO 45'

This team is 2nd so far. 

They had a lot of trouble with the sponsors. 
Because the sponsor is not a private enterprise.
Public enterprise ban to earn money by running sports team.
That is why the team couldn't get 
a full-membership of the KOVO(Korea Volleyball federation) 
This team is associate member.

At 2008, because of the sponsor problem, the team was almost destroyed, 

however they stood all the troubles and 

now they are one of the most powerful team in the league.

This is about their emblem and mascot.

left one is emblem. 'KEPCO45' embodies speed of the light.

The main sponsor of this team is 'KEPCO(Korea Electric Corporation/한국전력)' 
That's why they used 'KEPCO'& image of 'Light'

'45' means the years since the team started.

Right one, the character, is mascot. 
Actually it is the mascot of 'KEPCO'. 
I mean it is not for the volley ball team. 
It is for the company 'KEPCO' therefore there is no specific mascot for the team.
That is why I can find the character at the company's homepage.

The HOME is Su-Won stadium
Su-Won is placed in capital-area. 
Therefore it is easy to go compared with other volley ball cities. 
Visitors can take bus, subway, express and car. 
It means every transportation.

The uniform colors are white and red.
The sponsor for the uniform is 'ASICS' 
WHITE one is for 'HOME MATCH' and the RED one is for 'AWAY MATCH'





This is a picture of coach.
The chief 'Shin Chun-sam(신춘삼)' debuted at this season. 
It means he is 'NEWBIE' in this season. 
However, the team is doing really well, fans are grad to be with him.

As KEPCO45 reorganized at 2008, most of the players are unaccustomed. 

It means most of the players are just graduated from university.

University league is amateur league. 

So It is not easy to be familiar with the atmosphere of pro- league.

However, they are doing much beyond people's expectation.
